When you have a car, you find yourself suddenly surround with many best friends.

Same goes for anything which is of advantage to the other person.

For the past 2 weeks, i've been driving my mom's car in campus.
All of a sudden, I have many new friends.

"Are you going home tonight? Can I have a lift?"
"What time does your lesson start? Can fetch me too?"
"Oh can xxx take your car too?"

For a while it was all novelty to me. On top of it, I am a nice person. hence I would not reject requests for rides. But now, I am getting a little tired of it.
I love going the extra mile for people, and I love doing things for others. But I want to do it for those whom I care for, for those who are my friends; and not a Tom, Dick or Harry who may come along asking for favours.

I've said it before, I believe it is my privilege to be able to drive, and to have a car to drive. I won't stop blessing other people, but I don't want to do it out of my flesh, my human niceness. I want to do out of my kindness, out of the agape love in me.

Still learning to say no.
Not by giving lame excuses, but by saying "No, I am sorry, it's rather inconvenient".
